Morphosis: Buildings & Projects, 1999-2008 documents the growth and progression of Morphosis since 1989. In Thom Mayne’s opening essay titled “Some Scattered Thoughts Instead of a Foreword,” he outlines “… specific areas of interest that inform the works presented in this volume: the use of materials and technology; an expansive view of landscape as a parallel to that found in biological/ecological processes; and a search for strategies to integrate architecture into the life of the city.”
